U of U CAMPUS ALERT: CAMPUS ADVISORY.  Scheduled Cannon Test Firing

WHAT:
The University of Utah Army ROTC will conduct a scheduled test firing of the Ute Thunder II cannon (fired after touchdowns at Utah football games) which will produce multiple loud noises.

WHERE:
ROTC Building (Building 638), 255 S Fort Douglas Blvd, just south of the Post Theatre, Fort Douglas area.

TIMING:
Test firing begins at 10:30 a.m. today. 

IMPACT:
People in the surrounding campus and Fort Douglas areas may hear several loud explosive reports. Safety measures are in place around the cannon.
